NORC - Aging in Place: Part 2

Condos are facing a growing challenge: residents in communities that trend older are choosing to age in place because traditional options such as long-term care or retirement homes are often inadequate or unaffordable.

Aging in place creates pressures on boards, property managers and front-line staff, from physical and mental health concerns to increased demands on security and concierge teams. This educational session introduces Naturally Occurring Retirement Communities (NORCs) and the innovative work of the NORC Innovation Center (NIC), a UHN supported organization.

This session will focus on the legal aspects of NORC.
